Our First Annual Open House was a huge success! The sun was shining, music was playing, and the smell of hot dogs and BBQ wafted through the air. All of this helped set the scene as people played cornhole and Skee-ball in our tent, and gathered around live wrecker demos in the lot.
We also had some pretty cool shirts (if we do say so ourselves) as prizes, and a decked out YETI gift basket giveaway! We co-hosted this event with Gray’s Towing Service. Working together with Gray's we provide 24/7 emergency response, 365 days a year.
Cold Tapping Demonstration

We demonstrated "Off Loading" or "Cold Tapping" a semi-tanker. This process starts with unloading hazardous liquids when the valves are damaged or inaccessible, and then up-righting the semi-trailer. In a real accident, these tankers could be filled with flammable, combustible, or corrosive liquid. This process is very dangerous if not done correctly, and is considered a "last resort."
The MSR team is specifically trained for Cold Tapping and other scenarios to ensure the safety of everyone on scene!
Heavy Recovery Demonstration

Gray’s Towing Service demonstrated a few heavy recovery scenarios. This vehicle entrapment scenario depicted a car that had rear-ended a school bus. The 50 ton rotator, “The Tator” is able to stabilize, remove, and assist with technical entrapments and other heavy vehicle recoveries.
Thank You

We want to say a huge “Thank You!” to all who attended our Open House, as well as our staff who made it all happen. We couldn't have asked for a better day and we hope to see you all again next year!
